Broadview Donates $21,500 to Roswell Park Following Bills Playoff Run
January 22, 2026
With the conclusion of the Buffalo Bills’ season after their tough Divisional Round matchup against the Denver Broncos, Broadview has donated a total of $21,500 to the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation – the nonprofit arm of Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.
The donation marks the culmination of the credit union’s annual Playoffs with a Purpose campaign, which commits funds to a Buffalo nonprofit based on the Bills playoff performance.
“It takes an incredible team to fight cancer: our world-renowned researchers, exceptional nurses and clinicians, and committed community partners — like Broadview,” said Roswell Park President and CEO Dr. Candace Johnson. “We are so grateful Broadview chose Roswell Park as the beneficiary for Playoffs with a Purpose. This generous donation of $21,500 is a victory for Roswell Park and our mission to end cancer!”
This season’s Playoffs with a Purpose campaign included a $10,000 donation for both Bills playoff games plus an additional $1,500 based on the point differential in the Bills’ Wild Card win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Thanks to the generosity built into Broadview’s escalating playoff pledge structure, the final amount supporting Roswell Park reached $21,500.
“At Broadview, our purpose is to change lives for the better, and Roswell Park is doing just that for people in the battle against cancer. That’s why we were thrilled to support the Roswell Park Alliance Foundation through our Playoffs with a Purpose campaign,” said Broadview CEO Michael Castellana.
For the past five seasons, Playoffs with a Purpose has added to the excitement of the Buffalo Bills postseason while directing essential funds to Western New York nonprofits. Since its inception, this initiative has turned every Bills point, win, and playoff moment into charitable impact in Western New York. Past campaigns have supported nonprofits such as FeedMore Western New York, helping fight hunger across the region.
